Rebel Roots Boutique
Business Spotlight of the Week
October 22, 2018
The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce highlights Rebel Roots Boutique this week in our member spotlight. Rebel Roots came onto the local retail scene in 2015 at 721 N Center. In 2017 they expanded to their current location in the downtown square at 406 N Center St, Bonham.
Rebel Roots is a retail clothing boutique for women and kids with four employees on staff. They are a Christian based company, and they love helping everyone feel good about themselves. The store is open to more than just shopping, they also have customers that just come in to visit and chat. Rebel Roots is a boutique with an eye for style and a caring heart for their customers.
Last year was the boutique’s first annual Rebel Runway, which was to raise money for the Fannin County Kool Lunch program. The event had a concert, vendors, and a fashion show which raised $5000 for the program. Rebel Roots will be hosting the event again next year.
Besides adding to the style of Bonahm, Rebel Roots also contributes to many local charities and community organizations. Owner and founder Melody Hammett currently serves as a director for the Chamber. Rebel Roots also donates clothing to local charities.
Swing by Rebel Roots at 406 N Center or check them out anytime at www.rebelrootsboutique.com. The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce is glad to call Rebel Roots one of our members, and we appreciate all the volunteer hours and support they have committed to the Chamber’s work. We look forward to serving them for many years to come.
