    Renlita Custom Opening Solutions

    The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce shines the member spotlight on Renlita Custom Opening Solutions this week. The company began in 2005 in North Carolina, but as the Renlita family states: “They got here as fast as they could.” After some time on 1st street, Renlita opened its expanded facilities at 2430 Albert Broadfoot St, Bonham in 2017.

    Renlita Custom Opening Solutions is a US based manufacturer that specializes in custom operable doors, walls and windows, but also offers a wide variety of custom designed and fabricated vertical and horizontal opening solutions. They depend on a staff of thirty-five employees to serve their customers in retail, residential, commercial, industrial and educational applications, and are located all over the world.  

    Once a year Renlita holds their annual distributor meeting here in Bonham, attended by distributors from all over the US and Canada. All Renlita products are made in the USA, and they are proud to support the local economy by providing jobs and are proud to partner with local businesses by outsourcing powder coating, machinist, inventory management, and more.

    Rebel Roots Boutique

    The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce highlights Rebel Roots Boutique this week in our member spotlight. Rebel Roots came onto the local retail scene in 2015 at 721 N Center. In 2017 they expanded to their current location in the downtown square at 406 N Center St, Bonham.

    Rebel Roots is a retail clothing boutique for women and kids with four employees on staff. They are a Christian based company, and they love helping everyone feel good about themselves. The store is open to more than just shopping, they also have customers that just come in to visit and chat. Rebel Roots is a boutique with an eye for style and a caring heart for their customers.

    Last year was the boutique’s first annual Rebel Runway, which was to raise money for the Fannin County Kool Lunch program. The event had a concert, vendors, and a fashion show which raised $5000 for the program. Rebel Roots will be hosting the event again next year. 

    Besides adding to the style of Bonahm, Rebel Roots also contributes to many local charities and community organizations. Owner and founder Melody Hammett currently serves as a director for the Chamber. Rebel Roots also donates clothing to local charities.

    Century 21, Harvey Properties

                The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce shines the member spotlight on Century 21, Harvey Properties as one of our longtime business members. Renee Harvey purchased the Bonham office at 721 N Center, Suite A over 10 years ago. They are one of three offices, with a total of 25 realtors covering Texas and Oklahoma.

                If you’ve driven down Center St recently, you may have noticed, Century 21 has been doing some renovating, both inside the office and with their sleek new logo and sign. The company is a residential, farms and ranches, and commercial real estate brokerage. They can provide professional help when you need to sell or if you are looking for the perfect purchase.     My Clutter

    The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce highlights My Clutter this week as one of our downtown business members. My Clutter opened its doors at 403 N Main in 2014 and continues to be operated by owners Bruce and Gail Burnham. 

    Originally from Houston, the Burnham’s have been a substantial addition to our community, receiving New Business of the Year for 2014. Their store, My Clutter, is a retail gift, home décor, vintage, and antique store. They strive to be the area’s most unique shopping experience and specialize in vintage finds and antiques. They also buy antiques, estate jewelry and other vintage items. They try to have something for everyone—old, new and in between.

    Bethlehem Baptist Church

                The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce spotlight shines on Bethlehem Baptist Church-The House of Bread. Bethlehem Baptist held its first service in 1871, and continued through the next 146 years to bring them to today, with the church building at 1415 Franklin Ave, and with five employees on staff.     CARLETON HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST

    Business Spotlight of the Week

    The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce is highlighting The Carleton House Bed and Breakfast as one of our longtime business members. Owners Karen & Steve Halbrook moved to Bonham in 1994 to restore this National Register Home and open the Carleton House Bed & Breakfast in April of 1996 and have been proud Members of the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce since then.

    With the need for additional rooms, they restored an Historic Home on W.10th St. that is used as lodging for business guests, B&B guests with children, and those who need handicapped accessible lodging. Other restorations include the Willow St. Cottage, and the Carriage House for Party Rentals and Scrapbooking Retreats. In addition to lodging, other services of the Bed & Breakfast include Candlelight Dinners and Special Holiday Events with Live Music, Weddings, Showers, Retreats, Concerts and Parties.  

    Steve is a Circuit Board Designer, Musician, Graphic Designer and assists with the Bed & Breakfast on many levels. He enjoys Radio and Clock repair, as well as keeping up the Historic Homes and the Model A Car used to give historic tours of Bonham to the B&B guests.

                                  Karen is a Licensed Event Planner, Photographer, Graphic Designer, Artist, Cake Decorator, Cook, Seamstress, Licensed Masseuse and Gardener, all which benefit running the Bed & Breakfasts, hosting Weddings, Showers and Special Events.

Having been in business 17 years, they have grown to their current size of eleven agents and two office staff in their location at 420 W Sam Rayburn Dr, Bonham.

    Guild Mortgage

                The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce is highlighting Guild Mortgage this week as one of our long time business members. Sabrina Wegley and Michelle Castle manage 6 Guild Branches in Sherman, Celina, Sanger, McKinney and Belton with 9 loan officers and a total of 31 employees. Sabrina currently serves on the Bonham Chamber Board of Directors as part of her effort to better serve our area.

                Guild Mortgage began in 1960, but Sabrina and Michelle opened the Sherman branch in June 2011 and moved to their current location at 714 N. Travis St, Sherman in the spring of 2016. The company provides residential mortgage lending through a wide variety of loan programs including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and down payment assistance programs, bonds, and grants.

                This week the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce highlights First United Bank as one of our longtime business members. First United Bank & Trust Company was chartered on October 21, 1900 as Durant National Bank. They currently have 12 staff working their location in Bonham at 120 W. Sam Rayburn.

                First United Bank, Bonham is a financial services organization that specializes in Checking, Savings, Money Market & CD accounts, and Mortgage, Land, Auto, Personal, agricultural & SBA loans to name a few.     Fix N Feed

    Business Spotlight of the Week

    May 14, 2018

    The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce is highlighting Fix n Feed this week as one of our longtime business members. Having been in business 14 years, they began in Commerce and opened their Bonham location at 603 N Center in 2005. They currently have thirty-one employees.

    Fix N Feed, Bonham Hardware, sells feed, lumber, fencing material, paint and hardware, and specializes in unique items for every job. They strive to be a customer service-oriented business that helps with any of their customers’ needs. You can catch several sales at Fix N Feed throughout the year, but their main sale is the first week of April, called “Customer Appreciate Sale.” If you have any questions, they are active on facebook or can be reached at 903-583-9995.

    Fix N Feed often supports our community. They participate in fundraisers throughout the community via donations. Every year they enter a bright and cheery Christmas float in our parade for all the attendees to enjoy, and their manager, Gary Stanley, currently serves on the Chamber Board of Directors. The Chamber wants to specially acknowledge this during their spotlight week of May 14th. Take some time to swing by their location at 603 N Center, Bonham to thank them for all they do.
